                                        I love going on excursions. The best trip I went to after the A/L exam was to Katharagama.

I went with my friends, it was a six day trip. We first went to the Nelligala sacred area. The view from the dawn in it breathtaking. I was amazed at how the sacred place was shrouded in mist as the morning sun rose.

We also went to see the beautiful of Nuwareliya Lake Gregory, the flower garden became one of the most beautiful places we saw. We spent the night at a hotel in Nuwareliya that day. At night we had fun singing songs. We went for water sports at the waterfalls during the day.

We also took a boat ride in Gregory Lake Park. After that we went to the Anuradhapura sacred area. There everyone observed sill. We also joined in cleaning up the area around the shrine. That beautiful past is still fresh in my mind.
